Photo realism sucks. I'm about capturing the moment and i love the fact that I caught this one. The dichotomies of light and dark, height and color. These guys rock and I am glad I caught the mood. Someone critiqued this and said

This image suffers from multiple technique problems, yet it has a lot of appeal??? The obvious flaws are: 1. out of focus, 2. extreme contrast, 3. lack of fill flash for facial detail, 4. main subjects in the center of the image, and 5. poor cropping. So, why do I find this image appealing? I think it is the warm smile of the woman and her relationship with the man, along with the almost pastel-like color."

At least one person in the world got it, and that makes me happy.
